Understanding Gift Cards
Simply put, a Gift Card is another method of payment.
A gift card can be a physical, hard plastic card that looks pretty similar to a credit card or a electronic coupon that is delivered via email.
Gift Cards can be purchased in-store (physical) or online (electronic) and a monetary value of your choice is applied to the card.
How much money can I add to a gift card?
You can add a minimum of $200 BBD and up. For physical cards, an activation fee of $5 BBD is required.
Can a physical gift card be used more than once?
Yes, provided there is still a balance remaining on the card, the card can be used until the balance is exhausted.
Can physical gift cards be reloaded?
No, you cannot reload a gift card once funds have been added or exhausted.
Can more than one gift card be used towards a purchase?
Yes. A customer can redeem more than one gift card during checkout until the balance is exhausted.
How do customers check their balance?
At this time, customers can't check their own gift card balance, but they can request the balance from our support team via email at email@example.com.
Can a gift card be used to buy a gift card?
No, you can't use a gift card to buy another gift card. Gift Cards cannot be used for cash or exchanged for other forms of payment or renumeration.
PURCHASING & SENDING
How can I buy a South of London Gift Card?
Gift cards can be purchased online or in-store. Gift Cards purchased online are electronic codes, while Gift Cards purchased in-store are physical plastic cards.
Are there any fees associated with the purchase of a Gift Card?
There is a $5 BBD activation fee associated with physical, plastic Gift Cards - in addition to the card value.
How much is shipping?
Gift Cards purchased online are electronic - and are delivered instantly via email. There is no shipping or shipping costs involved.
When will I be charged for purchasing a Gift Card?
Your credit card or other payment method will be charged the value of the card at the time of purchase.
DELIVERY & REDEMPTION
How are physical Gift Cards delivered and what does the recipient receive?
Physical (hard plastic) Gift Cards are issued in-store only. The recipient receives the Card with loaded funds after purchase. The card comes in a custom branded sleeve and envelope.
How are eGift Cards delivered and what does the recipient receive?
Our eGift Cards are emailed to the purchaser within seconds of your purchase online. The email sent to the purchaser includes a link to activate the eGift Card online.
When the recipient opens the link, the eGift Card and balance you selected will be displayed along the eGift Card code.
When the recipient is ready to pay for the goods in their cart, the code is entered upon checkout.
The purchaser can email the gift card to a friend for use.
What if I lose my Gift Card?
You should treat your Gift Card like cash. If you lose your Gift Card, immediately contact customer service at 1.246.571.4459 or email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will deactivate your card.
Redemption & Use
Gift Cards are redeemable at South of London stores and online at SouthofLondon.com. Gift Cards may not be returned, applied as payment on any account nor be redeemed for cash.

Expiration & Fees
Gift Cards do not expire. There is a $5 BBD activation fee for plastics cards.
Lost, Damaged or Stolen Cards & Fraud
If lost, stolen or damaged, Gift Cards may be replaced for the remaining value if you provide satisfactory proof of purchase.
South of London will not be responsible if your Gift Card is used without your permission. If we learn that our customers were negatively impacted by an issue with our Gift Card systems, we’ll work quickly to deactivate the card.
Please treat your Gift Card like cash and safeguard it accordingly. South of London and its affiliates reserve the right to refuse to accept Gift Cards that we suspect or believe were obtained fraudulently.
